Week 3- A Change of Plans

 Hallo alle meine Freunde! 

This week was great! It has been a lot of the same; studying German, or the scriptures, and going to class. We have begun teaching people "who are interested in the church". I only put quotations because we originally thought we would be teaching people that we had never met, so I was definitely surprised when "Mahtab's" zoom camera turned on and it was one of my teachers, Sister Freeman. It has definitely been interesting, but it is good practice! On Tuesday I received my flight plans to go to Saint George on the 16th of December which was super exciting! 

Thanksgiving was great! We had some people from our ward over and it was great to talk, eat, and play some games! There is definitely something special about the holidays that brings people together. Probably the Spirit mixed with a lot of good food.

Another surprise came into my email yesterday. After months of unsurity of when, or even if, I would make it to Germany/Switzerland/Austria, my dreams finally came true. I am no longer going to Saint George at all! It turns out that my whole district will be going straight to our original assignments, and instead of leaving on December 16th, we will be flying on January 5th!! Due to the laws in Europe we have to quarantine for two weeks in the London MTC which means that I will actually get to meet my whole district in person! To sum it up, you could say that I am super excited!! 

Three weeks down, two to go.
