Week 4- Another Change of Plans

This week has been crazy! There wasn't that much that actually happened but some big news definitely threw us for a loop. Last week we were told that we would be leaving for Germany on January 5th. This week though we received this: "A few days ago, I sent an email at the request of the Area Presidency to inform you that we moved Elder Jarnagin’s travel date to be around January 5th. However, the Area Presidency has now decided they would like for the missionaries to arrive at their assignment in Germany before the end of the year while the opportunity is open. As such the travel date has been changed again to now be December 14th." I was so excited, but also scared to hear this news! I am so excited to be able to get to Germany/Austria/Switzerland, but also kinda scared for the language and culture change. But I know that my German will get better as I continue to work hard and trust in the Lord, and I know that so many great things will happen when I am there!! This change brought on lots of rushed preparations though, like having to begin the Visa process just days before we actually leave instead of weeks before like normal and buying last minute things. It still doesn't feel real that I am actually leaving in a couple days for the next 2 years. I was also able to go to the temple down in Hartford, Connecticut with my family this week! My older brother Brayden actually flew in from Georgia for it which was so awesome to get to see him! It was an awesome experience!

Besides that, there has just been more of the same. Lots of German studying, teaching, and classes. Our last day of the MTC is Saturday! It has gone by so quickly looking back on it, and it is crazy to see the progress we have made!

I don't have many pictures from this week, but I'm sure next week once we are in England I will have a ton!
