Week 7- Fröliche Weihnachten!

Hallo alle! Fröliche Weihnachten! 

This week has been great, just another week in quarantine. Elder Jensen has been awesome to quarantine with! He is super optimistic and has helped me see how blessed we are to be here. This week we got to meet our mission president, President Naatjes! He is super awesome! 

 

Today being Christmas marked 10 days since we have been here, but also means that our quarantine is over! This morning we got to go all over the MTC grounds and talk with tons of the other missionaries which was amazing! The Preston Temple is right by us so we got to walk over there this morning! 

We were supposed to be leaving for Germany on Tuesday the 29th, but with the news of the mutated strain of Corona in Europe, and especially England, it looks like we are going to be here longer than expected. Even our mission president and the MTC president don't know what's happening yet. 

With this is mind I have been studying the importance of patience. Mosiah 24:16 says, "And it came to pass that so great was their faith and their patience that the voice of the Lord came unto them again, saying: Be of good comfort, for on the morrow I will deliver you out of bondage." As I read this scripture I was comforted knowing that as I, and everyone else here with me at the MTC, endure our trials with patience and faith, that we can me delivered from them. Hopefully we will find out more news of what is happening this week!
