New Faces

We had a great week! We got to see lots of missionaries! On Thursday, the missionaries that had been in the MTC with me, who ended up in Croatia, finally made it here! That meant that other missionaries who would be training also had to go to their new areas! One elder who was in my Zone was getting transferred to Vienna, meaning his comp, Elder Erlacher, would not have a companion until his trainee got here that night. So me and Elder Field went down to Zurich and spent the day with Elder Erlacher! That night we went back to the Bahnhof to welcome all of the new missionaries! I got to meet a ton of other missionaries and people that I had quarantined in the England MTC! It was awesome! 

We had another exchange with some elders that are in Freiburg, Germany, but because of Corona laws, we couldn't go into Switzerland, so we all stayed in our apartment here in Wettingen! It was good to spend some time with some other elders.

Today for PDay we went with Elder Erlacher and his new trainee Elder Patterson, who I know from quarantine, to Mount Rigi! Its not too far, and with the swiss pass that we have, it was free! From the Bahnhof, we took a ferry across a big lake, and then a train up to the top of the mountain. It was actually warm and sunny on the top of the mountain and had an amazing view! 

I also hit my 3 month on the mission mark, and yesterday I hit my 1 month mark since getting here to Wettingen! Its insane! The weeks here have flown by! I am excited to keep serving here and keep on learning and growing.
