End of my First Transfer!
It was a weird feeling knowing that I have already finished my first transfer (+2 weeks). It has flown by and I have learned a ton. I remember my first day, I was so nervous and on edge about everything, but now it feels completely natural. My trainer Elder Field goes home tomorrow which is crazy. My new companion is Elder Stromsdorfer! Well, first he has to quarantine for 10 days, so I will temporarily be with Elder Gallacher! It'll be different without Elder Field, but I am excited.
This past week we had Zone Conference which was amazing! President and Sister Naatjes gave some amazing thoughts! There was a quote that Sister Naatjes and I loved it so much, "the Savior cares more about my growth than my comfort." Kinda blew my mind when she said it because it is something I have always known, but was so simply profound. One of the coolest parts about Zone Conference is that I got to see and meet so many other missionaries from the mission! I saw friends from quarantine and got to meet new people that I have only ever seen over Zoom. It was a great first Zone Conference!

Today for P-Day we got together with tons of other missionaries and went to Reinfalls (a big waterfall) and then to Uetliberg (a mountain near Zürich). The waterfalls were so pretty! Then on the top of Uetliberg, we had a little barbecue! It was so much fun!
I am excited for this next transfer and to keep learning and growing. I'm excited to meet more people and get better at German!
Bis später!
