First Transfer Complete!

Hello everyone!
As of yesterday, I have been here in Switzerland for a full 6 weeks! Transfers don't actually happen for two more weeks since I came here mid transfer. The weeks have flown by though!

We had another exchange this week, and Elder Patterson came here to Wettingen! With just the two of us though and our lack of experience, it was a great learning experience. We had an appointment that night with the most recent convert in our ward, and it actually wasn't terrible! Our German wasn't perfect, but we did our best and I think it went well. We had a service project the next morning which went good, and she gave us a bunch of boxes of cereal after which I was very excited about. We went to visit some members from the ward that are less active, but they all weren't home (or maybe were just ignoring us). There was one though that when they opened the door, just started shaking their head and basically rejected us. It was sad, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

Today for P-Day we got together with about 20 other missionaries and played soccer for 3 hours! The weather was super nice (about 60°F) and it was super fun! I haven't run and sprinted that much in ages, so my legs are very tired. It was cool to meet and hang out with tons of other missionaries from all over the world (some from France, Sweden, Germany, Austria, and Australia!)

Overall things are going well! The work goes on, and missionary life is awesome! It can be hard, but it is always rewarding! -Elder Jarnagin
