A Week of Exchanges

We spent most of this past week on exchanges with other elders. It's always super fun being around other elders so it was awesome! I got to see some other areas in Austria and it still blows my mind how beautiful it is here.

We had a street display in Innsbruck on Saturday and it was definitely an interesting experience. As we were setting up we noticed this big crowd protesting for what has been happening in Palestine. They were shouting and waving flags, and I guess the group got big enough that the police showed up to break it up. Definitely a journal worthy experience.

At the street display we got to talk to a lot of people which was awesome! We talked with one man named Ahmed who was from Syria. He told us about some of his life and how he has always wanted to believe in God, but feels like since there is war, and innocent people dying, and just awful things in the world, how can there be a God? It led to a good discussion about why God lets bad things happen to good people and the role that trials plays in Gods plan. He still didn't fully understand it, but he respected what we are doing as missionaries. He took an Arabic Book of Mormon and then gave us his number and said he wanted to have us over for dinner sometime! It's things like that that make being a missionary worth it.
Hope you all are well! The gospel is true and can change lives! God is always there!
