A Week in Salzburg

This week was probably one of the best and most unique weeks of my whole mission! We stayed in Salzburg for almost the whole week because of District Council on Monday, zone P-day on Tuesday, transfer day on Wednesday, picked up a bunch of packages on Thursday, and then Elder Quintons birthday on Friday!

On transfer day we only got 2 new people in our zone, one of which was my MTC comp Elder Larson! It was great to see him and I'm so excited that he gets to serve here! While we waited for him to arrive we went out to lunch as a Zone and actually sat down inside the restaurant! That is my first time since being on my mission!

On Thursday we got a bunch of packages from the office, one of which was Elder Yospes glasses that he has been waiting on for over 2 months now, so he was quite relieved to finally get them. That night we went with the Salzburg elders to this beautiful town right on Wolfgangsee which is just a lake where we had wanted to go finding. Turns out that there was no one really there, so we got some pizzas and ate right by the lake.

Friday was Elder Quintons birthday so all of the elders in our Zone came for lunch! We went to a restaurant with classic Austrian food which was amazing. The elders and sisters in my zone are so amazing and it feels like we are a family now.

Today for P-Day Elder Yospe and I went to this place here in Klagenfurt called Minimundus! It has about 160 smaller scaled monuments and historical sites from around the world! It definitely was not the same as seeing them in person, but the amount of detail put into them was insane!

Overall it was a crazy week, but it was awesome to be able to spend time with the Zone and explore more of Austria! It really is such an amazing, beautiful country and I'm so glad that I get to be serving here.

Bis nächstes Mal!
