To the Office

Hello everyone!

This past week was CRAZY. Nothing really went how we thought it would, but it was still great. We were leaving Salzburg last Wednesday morning, when we got a text saying that we would be having interviews the next day. In Salzburg. We thought about staying, but had an appointment that day with a new man we started teaching which went amazing! All the travel is really starting to get to us though.

My interview with President the next day was great! He is an amazing, inspired man. We truly couldn't ask for better. At the end of my interview though he says, "Weird question. How do you do in an office setting?" He basically told me that they need a new office Elder and that I might be the man for the job. I honestly was just confused because I am still relatively young on the mission, but also excited at the possibility. After our interviews, President Naatjes bought our whole zone dinner! It was great, and he gave us lots of relationship and marriage advice.

Surely enough, Saturday night we got a video call from President Naatjes. I will be going to the office as the new financial Elder and my companion, Elder Yospe, will be training here in Klagenfurt! The craziest part is that I have to get trained before next transfer starts, so I leave to go to Munich tomorrow! Definitely changed up our whole week, and I have just been packing and getting ready the past couple of days. It'll be totally different missionary work, but I am excited!

Today for PDay we went to the Pyramidenkogel here in Klagenfurt! It's essentially a big tower that overlooks a beautiful lake and the surrounding area. The best part though is that it has a massive swirly slide that takes you back to the bottom! It was wicked fast and definitely worth the €4.
