Update!

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I have sent a weekly, it's been a crazy past couple weeks.

The Office:
I am still in the mission office in Munich as the finance guy, and it's been great! I've gotten to the point where I know how to do my job well and I am enjoying it which I wasn't sure if I was going to at first. It is really stressful at times, but I've learned a lot and am grateful for all of the experiences that I've had here so far. Probably the best part is that we get to be involved with so much in the mission, whether it's with zone conferences, transfer days, or just getting to see all of the missionaries that visit the office, it's always a party and it keeps us on our toes.

The Funny:
- a black cat walked into the office the other week and we played with it for like 10 minutes
- we had a stressful week so the sisters dropped off dinner and balloon versions of us
- now that fall is here, we have all started to get big holiday vibes so we keep listening to Peanuts holiday music and talking about how excited we are for Christmas
- we put a mattress across the tops of our bunk beds to make a fort and put some Christmasy lights inside
- as a random hobby, Elder Thompson and I have been trying to perfect baking bread (especially the Swiss Zopf)

The Cool:
- last week we got to go to Innsbruck, Austria to give a presentation to all of the Senior Couples in the mission. Innsbruck is probably one of the most beautiful areas in our mission so we really enjoyed just getting out of the office
- I hit my 12 month mark in a couple weeks, but the way transfers work I will actually come home in a year from today which is absolutely crazy; time really flies on the mission
- I randomly got asked last Sunday an hour before church started if I would give a short testimony. After I had finished, the sisters said that they thought that what I had said was something that a lady they were meeting with (her name is Ute) really needed to hear. Fast forward to that evening when we randomly got a call from the sisters asking if we could come give a blessing to Ute because she is really struggling. We went over as soon as we could, and she asked if I would give her the blessing. I haven't given many blessings in my life, so I was nervous, especially because I knew nothing about her situation. Ute was super appreciative and I walked away with a great feeling of peace and love for this lady that I had just met.

This transfer has been pretty wack so far, definitely not how I thought that it would go, but my companions and I are definitely learning a lot together! Thanks for all of your support! If you ever have any questions or anything, feel free to reach out! Yall are the best!
