Bern Zone, Best Zone 

Guten Tag und willkommen to another weekly! Things have been popping off here in Basel. Loving the area, loving our zone, and loving life. Here are some highlights:

Bern vs. St Gallen + Zürich:

- last pday we had a massive soccer match. Our zone played against Zürich and St Gallen zones combined. After 90 minutes of intense playing, our zone came out on top 8-7, and let me tell you it was satisfying

Exchanges:

- I have been able to do exchanges with a bunch of elders in our zone which has been a blast! I get to travel around, see the different areas, and meet lots of people. It's cool to see how different each area is and learn new things from each elder.

Transfers:

- transfers are tomorrow already! My companion Elder Ashton is getting transferred south to Interlaken which is actually still in our zone, and my new companion is Elder Medweczky! He is one of three Hungarian missionaries in the whole world which is super cool. He is younger on the mission, and is a really funny guy. This next transfer is also only 5 weeks and with General Conference, a mission conference with Elder Uchtdorf, and interviews, this transfer is going to fly by.

Mount Pilatus:

- today we went to Pilatus for pday which is a famous mountain over in Luzern. It was such a gorgeous view from the top and the weather was wünderschön. At the top there were tons of birds that would land on your hand and head if you fed them which was funny until about 30 birds are surrounding you, diving down for chips. At the top there was also a man playing the "Alphorn" which is the super long horn famous in this area for being played up in the mountains. We felt super blessed in that moment to be serving in such a cool part of the world, though the work here can be hard at times #blessed
